were influential leaders of African- American women providing programs and scholarships to address the needs of our community during a groundbreaking period. We also hold the distinction of being the only Zeta Phi Beta chapter in the Las Vegas area to receive the State of Nevada Proclamation.
Today, our chapter consists of a diverse group of approximately 50 poised, talented, and
professional women actively engaged in working with the community to fulfill the goals of our
International Programs.
Over the 45 years of service, the rich leadership of Theta Omicron Zeta chapter has been guided by
many dynamic women such as Soror Mary Richardson, Soror Tanya Cohen-McKee, Soror Tiffany
Cooper, Soror Latoya Lewis, Soror Alison Reed, Soror Illeetha Groom and Soror Sparkle Williams.
Theta Omicron Zeta chapter proudly serves as the sponsoring chapter for the radiant Rho Pi undergraduate
chapter at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), two of our organization's youth auxiliaries, Zeta Amicette and Archonette Clubs, our Zeta Amicae Auxiliary and our Zeta Male Network Auxiliary of Las Vegas.

Under the leadership of our 26th International President Dr. Stacie NC Grant, Theta Omicron Zeta chapter remains trailblazers in our community. Signature Programs
ZREADS- Zetas Reading and Educating to Achieve and Develop Self- Esteem Zeta Cares Mentoring Program- On December 13, 2014, Theta Omicron Zeta established Zeta Cares Mentoring program with the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center. Theta Omicron Zeta meets every 3 rd Friday with detained young ladies to promote Z-HOPE activities and life skills. Adopt A School- Theta Omicron Zeta mentors and engage in various activities with students at Booker Elementary School. Adopt-A-Spot- Theta Omicron Zeta participates in contributing to the beautification of Las Vegas by ensuring the assigned block of Owens and H Street is maintained. Elder Care Initiative- In 2005, Theta Omicron Zeta established a partnership with the Harry Levy Senior Community Center. Z Mobile Pantry- In 2020, Theta Omicron Zeta partnered with Three Square to host a monthly mobile food panty to serve the Las Vegas community.
